“One thing I always remember Pam telling us was a story in small group.. it was from the Bible, Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” She would say the little lamp only lights up the pathway in front of us, just each next step. God usually only allows us to see just that next little step, not always the big future steps or looking behind all the time. I think about that often, because it helps when I struggle with trusting and allowing God to have control instead of trying to figure things out on my own.”
