15 Verses that Prove You are Enough

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

15 Verses that Prove You are Enough

When the world tells you that you are not enough, don’t believe it. You are enough because your Creator says you are.

Here are 15 verses to remind you that you are enough - especially when your feelings are trying to convince you differently. Those are lies. Today, I am praying that you will rest in the truth of God’s word.

Here is what He has to say about you….

1.     He loves you lavishly.

See what great love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.  – 1 John 3:1

2.     He created you in His image.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created Him. – Genesis 1:27

3.     He formed you and established your days.

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand… - Psalm 139:13-17

4.     He created you for a purpose.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. – Ephesians 2:10

5.     He has made you His heir.

The Spirit himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs—heirs of God and coheirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him. – Romans 8:16-17

6.     He has chosen you.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. – 1 Peter 2:9

7.     In His mercy, He renews you.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. – Titus 3:5

8.     His grace is sufficient for you.

And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9.     He is with you.

But Moses said to God, ‘Who am I that I should go to Pharoah, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?’ So He said, ‘ I will certainly be with you…’ – Exodus 3:11-12

10.  He will not abandon you.

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me. Lord, your faithful love endures forever;
do not abandon the work of your hands. – Psalm 138:8-9

11.  He is in you.

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own. For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

12.  Nothing can separate you.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:37-39

13.  He is working on you.

I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. – Philippians 1:6

14.  He will not forget you.

Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me. – Isaiah 49:15-16

15.  He has a place for you.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, - Ephesians 2:4-6

I love you, friend. You are enough.

Hi friend!

Thank you for reading this today. It means the world to me.

I have no words to express how honored I am to get to chat with you. I believe we were created to be in relationship with one another and to encourage each other on our journey to intimacy to Jesus. And… I know there is still so much more. So, let’s invite our friends to join us. We just never know who might need to know Jesus has more for them. You can help me share just by Liking, commenting on and sharing this post. It makes a difference when you do.
