What is the "MORE" God wants for You?
What is the “More” God wants for You?
Tell me, what is God up to in your life?
I was chatting with a friend recently and she began sharing that God was doing something, calling her to something and it was exciting. I love that! How about you? What is happening in your relationship with Him?
Maybe God is teaching you something...
Maybe He is revealing your next step...
Maybe He is inviting you into more with Him...
One thing I know for sure, God has MORE FOR YOU!
If we are not careful, we can become complacent and forget what it is that we believe. As Christ followers we believe that…
God is sovereign,
He is our Creator, the Great I Am,
that sin separated us from God,
He sent a Savior, a sacrificial lamb to be the atonement for our sin,
that Jesus hung on the cross and bore our shame, paid our penalty,
arose - declaring victory over death so we could live victoriously,
so that whosoever believes on Him could be reconciled to God,
have assurance of salvation,
be indwelled by the Holy Spirit,
spend eternity with God.
Are you shouting, “Hallelujah”? Y’all this is exciting! This is more than enough to make us stand up and praise the Lord!
So, let’s get really real for a moment. (Warning: this may sting a little.)
Are you living a victorious life?
Are you fulfilling the great commandment to love God & love people?
Are you doing the great commission and telling others about Him?
Have you asked God for clear direction as to what He wants you to do?
Remember, there is no condemnation in Christ. The questions are not meant to bring you shame for what you have not done. Instead, let these questions resonate and bring you motivation to do what God is calling you to do.
It is easy to shift our focus away from God and onto ourselves. We spend so much time thinking about our day, our worries, and our hopes. What if we shifted our thoughts to Him and planned our actions around Him and His desires for us? That sounds great, but how do we even begin?
Here are 4 steps we can take to discover the MORE God has for us…
1. Seek Him first. (Matthew 6:33)
2. Trust Him (Proverbs 3:5-6)
3. Obey Him (John 14:15)
4. Love Him / Love People (Ephesians 5:1-2)
This week, what if we spend some time reflecting on what God has done for us, study the 4 scriptures above and talk to Him about the MORE He has for us? (John 10:10) Then, I will be back next week to start working through our 4 steps – moving closer and closer to experiencing the MORE He has for us.
He wants you to know Him more.
He is ready to do more in you.
He is inviting you into more with Him.
You will experience more of His love, His peace, and His presence.
You can become more of who it is He created you to be.
You will live a more victorious life.
There is no better yes, than saying YES to God and the more He is inviting you into.
Okay – all you yes sayers – let’s do this! Let’s submit to Him and step into the more He has for us.

Thank you for reading this blog post. I remember when God began to whisper the word, MORE, to me. I didn’t hear it audibly but it was a constant in my mind. I argued because I was busy and could not do more than I was doing. Then He began to reveal that He was not asking me to add more to my to do list, He was inviting me into more with Him. Today I am praying that you say Yes and step into more with Him.
